We recently created a fundraising link on IndieGoGo for SUteiShi that allows you to pre-purchase a meal at SUteiShi for redemption after our grand re-opening! As a token of our appreciation, those who participate will receive extra tasty treats. We wish everyone a joyous holiday season. Help SUteiShi's RebuildMany of you know from previous communications and in the media that Hurricane Sandy destroyed the businesses in the South Street Seaport. One of which was our beloved SUteiShi. Good News is we are rebuilding and will make it even better than before. That is a tough goal as we have a 2013 Zagat ratings of 25 Food, 23 Service & 21 Decor and the Michelin Guide Recommendation. How can you help? With a lot of convincing from friends and customers like you, we opened up a fundraising project on IndieGoGo that allows friends and dedicated customers to pre-buy a meal now for redemption when the new restaurant opens. We appreciate you so much, we are giving those who help more value and perks for your meal when you redeem. So in the spirit of the holiday season, and helping us build you the best place to enjoy your favorite food, support us by purchasing a future meal today. Help Now

Update On Our Recovery Status
Dear SUteiShi Friends,
Sandy has knocked SUteiShi down, BUT NOT OUT! A quick update:
SUteiShi is gutted and waiting for electricity. We moved quickly to remove debris, food and saturated furniture as quickly as we could. Virtually everything had to be trashed; we even had to rip out all the walls! The bright side: We get to build a brand NEW SUteiShi.
Missing our Crunchy East Roll?
We are definitely missing you...
6 members of our SUteiShi team are working over at Sushi-teria, our sister store, located in the Citi Corp Building Atrium at Lexington Ave. and 53rd Street. Please come by and say hello, order your favorite rolls, and experience our iPad ordering system that allows you to order a "Maki Bite" (one piece of a roll). Sushi-teria is our new concept store. You can also check us out at www.sushi-teria.com Come visit!
We are also looking to re-establish our delivery in the next week or two via a commissary Kitchen. Stay tuned for that email blast.
Thank you all for the well wishes and we'll keep you up-to-date on our progress!
Your team @ SUteiShi

SUteiShi Suffers Severe Storm Damage from Hurricane Sandy
Dear Friends
We are sorry to report that SUteiShi has sustained immense damage from Hurricane Sandy. As it looks now, it will take us a couple of months to reopen. We are currently looking for a commissary in the Wall Street area to fulfill delivery orders, so please stay tuned and we will certainly notify you when we can resume our delivery and of course serving you in a fresh new SUteiShi. We look to come back stronger than before! Our team looks forward to serving you all very soon. Yours,
Victor Chan
